ISKRA

Iskra is Pléiade's daughter, she was born in November 2001 from our breeding. From the very childhood, she was the first one to be woken up and the last one to go to sleep in the 4 kitten litter. At 3 weeks old she was already fighting for the croquettes (dry food) for kittens which unforunately were too enormous for her little mouth. She was very funny and full of energy.

Then she forgot about the gluttony. Now she's eating only because she has to survive! Today she's a very discrete and emotive young cat. She has always honoured us with her presence and sweetness. Although she's a bit apprehensive, she's still very curious and sociable.

Her physionomy is rather different from the one of Pléiade. Actaully Iskra looks more like her father, Cherikov. Her ears are smaller than Pléiade's ones, and her fur is much brighter. Her fur is marvellously silver. If she looks less elegant than Pléiade, she is more admired by the judges at different feline exhibitions as she's much closer to the standard of the russian blue breed. She has a strong chin and well-positioned ears (high and straight above her head).

In July 2003 she gave birth to her first 3 males. From that moment she has been a perfect mother, very efficient and smart! Her 3 babys have been a pleasant experience for us, after the other 3 litters of Pléiade. These 3 males turned to be very early , and then confirmed in the months that followed, calm, friendly and extremely sociable cats.
